Eve Gartner

Eve Gartner is the Director of Crosscutting Toxics Strategies at Earthjustice, and has expertise in the regulation of toxic chemicals.  She works with Earthjustice’s regional offices and program teams to design and effectuate cross-organizational legal strategies to address federal and state regulatory failures that have resulted in serious health harms from toxic substances and pollution. 

She also serves on the Board of the New York City Environmental Law Leadership Institute.  She has appeared on the Law Dragon list of the 500 leading environmental and energy lawyers four of the last five years. Prior to joining Earthjustice, Ms. Gartner spent more than fifteen years leading reproductive rights litigation, including serving as the Deputy Director for Litigation at Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
